How
does it work???
It really couldn't be any easier! Send us
your favorite photos and we do the rest! We can change color
photos to black & white or sepia, reduce and crop them and
permanently seal them into each piece.
Which photos work
best???
The most important thing to look for when
deciding which photos to use, is that you choose photos you
LOVE. Pets, children, and sentimental photos all are excellent
choices for photo jewelry. Very light or white backgrounds do
not produce the best results. To ensure the best result, use
images that are at least 4 to 6 inches wide with a minimum of
300dpi in a jpeg format. The higher the resolution, the better
the image quality.
How do I send my
photos???
You can e-mail your photo to customorder@themetalcanvas.com.
PLEASE REFERENCE YOUR ORDER # in the subject line of the e-mail.
If you prefer to mail your photo, they can be sent by US mail
in a photo safe mailer and will be returned to you with your
order. Please be sure to label your photos on the back with
your name and phone number so we know who they belong to. Photos
should be mailed to:
The Metal Canvas
5671 Shadow Brook Ct.
Libertyville, IL 60048
What happens next?
When we receive your photo and instructions, we will e-mail
you a proof for your approval. At this time you can view the
photo in it’s cropped form.
How do you crop the
photos???
Photos are typically cropped close around
the face and hair, with the original background removed and
replaced with a crisp, dark background. If you’d like the photo
cropped differently, please let us know. Basic photo editing
is included in the price of the jewelry.
How long will it
take to receive my jewelry???
Our production time for custom jewelry is
10 days from customer approval. If you need your item sooner,
please inquire as to RUSH delivery charges.
What is your return
policy???
Due to the one-of-a-kind nature of each piece, we are unable
to accept returns or exchanges. Since each piece is made by
hand, no two pieces will ever be alike or “perfect”. Slight
irregularities in the shape and color of each piece should not
be considered defects.
